Patricia Ann Sykes Education Scholarship

The Patricia Ann Sykes Education Scholarship is named for the retired educator and early literacy advocate who always took her students, as they were, and inspired them to levels they themselves had no idea they could achieve. The scholarship should be awarded to an HSSU student majoring in education with a current minimum CGPA of 2.8. An essay must be submitted for any recipients after January, 2016 and must be one page regarding the importance of teaching children early
reading skills.
