Richard “Ricky” Towns Scholarship

This annual $500 scholarship honors the memory of Richard “Ricky” Towns, a Harris-Stowe State University graduate and music educator in the St. Louis Public Schools. The recipient must be an undergraduate majoring in Teacher Education or Urban Affairs, actively involved in the Concert Chorale and/or the Gospel Choir, enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours,
maintain at least a 2.5 CGPA, demonstrate financial need and be of good moral character with interest in continuation in the
music field.
