Dr. Thelma Steward Scholarship

The Dr. Thelma Steward Scholarship was establish in 2016 by Dr. David Steward in celebration of the couple’s 40th Wedding Anniversary. The Dr. Thelma Steward Scholarship will be awarded to scholars who exemplify scholarship, character and leadership in the classroom and community. The Dr. Thelma Steward Scholarship will award a maximum of two $15,0000 scholarships anually to graduating high school seniors planning to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) at Harris-Stowe State University. Must agree to participate in an internship program with World Wide Technology or a local United Way Organization.
