Ida Woolfolk Scholarship

The Ida Woolfolk Scholarship was established in 2018 by the St. Louis Delta Foundation to provide financial support for a Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU) Student. Supported by an initial gift of $1,000 with the potential to increase to $5,000 in future years dependent upon funds raised during the annual benefit/event, scholarships (amount and total number to be determined each year) will be awarded annually to a sophomore, junior or senior who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at HSSU. Other selection criteria includes a 2.5 GPA or better; any major; must complete a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) form; must have demonstrated unmet, financial need as verified by Students by HSSU (required for need based programs); resident of St. Louis Metropolitan Area resident; available to attend annual benefit; and selection made through regular university scholarship process.
