Lisa A. Anderson Scholarship

The Donor (Sound-Light Design Company) wishes to contribute to a scholarship fund in memory of Harris-Stowe graduate Lisa A. Anderson. Throughout her professional life, Ms. Anderson strived to provide opportunities for students throughout
Missouri to achieve academic and career success. Her initiatives to provide institutional and organizational programs and partnerships that introduced students to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields are still as vital and as essential as ever. The scholarship is in the amount of
$500, a one time payment. The scholarship may be used to pay for tuition and/or books. Eligible students must:
a. be undergraduate students majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline, or in an
Education/Urban Education program.
b. be taking a minimum of four courses or twelve credit hours, c. be maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.75, andFurthermore, the student must demonstrate financial need. It will be incumbent on the applicants to provide whatever documentation or information they deem necessary to fully demonstrate their
need (for example, wage statements, W 2s, list of expenses, etc.). The Harris Stowe Scholarship Committee has the latitude to assess student applications in making that determination. d.
be active in community service and/or programs that encourage underrepresented middle and high school students to prepare for and to seek postsecondary education
