Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo Educator Scholarship

This scholarship was established in January 2010 by Anthony Notorangelo in honor of Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo, a 1940 graduate of Harris Teachers College, to honor her many years of service as an elementary school teacher. The $1,000 per year(Down from $3000) scholarship for incoming and continuing students may be applied to cover full-time in-state tuition and admission fees, up to 16 credit hours, required textbooks, and to the extent possible some incidentals. If funds are available a recipient who remains continuously enrolled may receive this scholarship for a total of eight semesters as long as they maintain a 2.7 CGPA while completing at least 12 credit hours per semester and continuing to make unconditionally satisfactory academics. For incoming and continuing students the scholarship may be applied to cover full-time in-state tuition and admission fees, up to 16 credit hours, required textbooks, and to the extent possible some incidentals. The scholarship recipient is chosen based on academic excellence, community service, a showing of a sincere desire and passion for teaching at any level pre-K through high school.
